The Abraham Kriel Child and Youth Centre is a unique centre which has been attending to children in need of care in the North West Province, South Africa since 1956. All children have been placed in the center's care by means of children’s court enquiries. This implies that they have been exposed to traumatic circumstances in one form or another. The centre strives to provide for the unique physical, emotional, social, educational and cultural needs of each child.
